I am a long-time expat resident of Thailand, I live south of Hua Hin in the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Thank you for your article in "Good Looks Forever" which I found on the net. I read the article with interest, then went to visit Dr. Pramote at Yanhee Hospital.
Everything you mentioned about him was accurate, if not understated. He did listen, he explained carefully, and he did not push surgery. I felt this was a doctor I could trust.
I am writing to ask this: you have had experience at Yanhee, and one would guess you are also a long-time expat resident of Thailand. That said, is it possible for a foreigner, living here, to apply for the Thai price, as opposed to the Farang price.
And, do you know the difference?
Yanhee ran a promotion for a month that offered 20% off all cosmetic surgery.
That promotion expired Nov. 30, yesterday as I write.
I was due for surgery with Dr. Pramote- mostly due to your recommendation- thanks again- on that day, the 30th, but picked up a fever over the weekend and reluctantly opted out of surgery that day as I was feeling less than well.
So, I thought to inquire if you were aware of Yanhee's promotional pricing system: 20$ off is a great incentive.
Thanks for answering a stranger's query- and thanks for your straightforward, unblemished report on the net.
Yours,
- Benjamin

Hi Benjamin, little chance for Thai prices. Also, I would not bargain on such a sensitive issue. Dr. Pramote is a greatly qualified surgeon. Let him earn his fees. Still just a quarter or less of what you would pay for a less qualified surgeon in a richer country. Cheers, Marc
